About the World of Rhaetia
Rhaetia is the official showcase for the gardens of the four nymphs, known as Rhea Doll, Rhea Key 1024, Princess Lili Raelita and Nali Coei. The world of Rhaetia offers a safe space for creatures who identify with the creepy & pouty aesthetic, a magical and surreal place where solitude becomes constructive, through music, resilience kits and the nymphs’ tales.
Who are the four alter egos?
-
-
Nali Coei: The first nymph, born in 2016 from pure suffering. Author of diaries and infographic archives exploring identity and personal power.
-
Princess Lili Rae: The second nymph, voice of intimacy and mystery. Through her audio-visual content, she represents dark, intimate, and vulnerable narratives. She invites her followers to explore the beauty of solitude.
-
Rhea Key 1024: The guardian angel with numerous sub-manifestations. She experiments with music using art pop, synth wave, and dark ambient. In Rhaetia's garden, she creates the emotional soundtrack of this world: the creepy & pouty.
-
Rhea Doll: The nymph Mayor of the world. She creates soundscapes, patterns, and items that capture Rhaetia's creepy & pouty aesthetic.
-
What are Rhaetia's thematic areas?
Rhaetia explores themes of independence and protection, healing from toxic relationships, alternative femininity, mystery, authentic intimacy, and self-determination. The aesthetic is creepy cute dark-romantic, inspired by pop surrealist art, fables, and the world's own narrative.
What is Roly Poly Magazine & TV?
It is an experimental editorial project that merges creative journalism, subculture, and audio-visual storytelling, by collecting media that contribute to the creepy&pouty database. It is currently under development.
Ethics and sustainability
♻ Second life (recycling): the soft toys and dolls are second-hand, carefully selected, restored and reimagined by Rhea Doll. The project is not aimed at mass production, but at showcasing unique works of art; for this reason, some items may show signs of wear and imperfections.
♥ Community: dedicated to creepy and pouty creatures, Rhaetia welcomes people of all genders, ages, sexual orientations, abilities, religions and ethnicities who identify with the concept of self-care through pop surrealist and dark-romantic aesthetics, within the safe space that the project presents as a lifestyle.
✚ Expression: Rhaetia is open to all forms of artistic expression, whilst respecting its own aesthetic vision. The ‘creepy & pouty’ aesthetic is not a limitation, but a lens through which to explore the beauty of the imperfect, the melancholic and the tenderly unsettling. Here, expression need not please or conform to the mainstream: experimentation, the blending of artistic languages and the freedom to be oneself, even in one’s darker side are encouraged.
